Laka Laka - This time for Arabia!
Marhaba everyone! It’s time to thrill your shopaholic friends in the UAE by gifting them the newly launched Laka Gift Card.
“LAKA” meaning ‘for you’ in Arabic, is the first Closed Loop Mall Gift Card Program in the Middle East Market powered by Qwikcilver. The card is available in the Shopping Malls operated and managed by Line investments and Properties LLC, the real estate arm of Lulu Group International.
The Laka Gift Card is currently available and valid across 8 malls in both Abu Dhabi – Al Wahda Mall, Khalidiyah Mall, Mazyad Mall, Al Raha Mall, Mushrif Mall, Madinat Zayed Shopping Centre and Gold Centre and in Al Ain – Al Foah and Barari Outlet Mall on more than 1000 brands, redeemable at over 2,500 stores.
Starting off, the Laka Gift Cards will be issued at the respective mall’s central service desks with one-time redemption across any outlet valid at all merchants in the mall. In Phase 2, the cards will be issued at the Mall’s Central Service Desk and online via an App and will allow for multiple redemptions across any outlet via an easy to use merchant facing app.

We are pleased to announce the launch of Urban Company Gift Card, issued by Qwikcilver.
Founded in November 2014, Urban Company (formerly Urban Clap) is India and the UAE’s largest home services company. The company offers services such as beauty and spa at home, cleaning, plumbing, carpentry, appliance repair, painting, etc. through its mobile app and website.
Urban Company operates in 14 cities in India and in 4 cities internationally. They have a partner network of over 20,000 hand-picked service professionals, who are provided financing, training, and product or consumables support.
Urban Company Gift Card is a Semi Closed Loop Program, issued by Qwikcilver. The Gift Card can be bought on their app and website and on Qwikcilver enabled channels. These gift cards can be redeemed on the UrbanClap app & website.

In Phase 1, the Lawrence & Mayo gift card will be available in e-form and will be sold from Lawrence & Mayo Corporate & Qwikcilver distribution channels. The gift card can be redeemed across their stores and will use standalone web page to redeem the card as mode of payment.
