Thomas Cook (India) Ltd. is one of India’s largest integrated travel & travel related financial services company launched their Gift Card Program powered by the Qwikcilver platform.

Nike, through their Franchisee Retailer SSIPL recently launched their e-Gift Card program in India.

Qwikcilver launches its Mobile App- Woohoo
In its ongoing quest to reach one more step closer to the consumer, Qwikcilver has launched its very own mobile app, “Woohoo”! Launched initially only on the Android platform, the app is available for download at the Google Playstore. The app helps customers get all their currencies scattered across e-wallets, loyalty points, gift cards etc. together in one place, and lets them spend over multiple brand stores. In other words, Woohoo helps organise the customers’ spending power so they can buy, gift and pay from their mobile, shop for their favourite brands, dine at their favourite restaurants, book movie tickets and even gift someone special, all from the app.
The currency partners currently on board the app include MobiKwik, Oxigen, PayBack, HiFives, Pay U and of course GiftBig.

Qwikcilver launches the innovative Retail Distribution of Gift Cards
With the sole aim to increase Gift Card penetration among retail customers, Qwikcilver has launched its physical retail distribution of Gift Cards at Superseva and YLG outlets in Bangalore and Chennai. Gift Cards across multiple brands are currently available at 33 outlets of YLG and 121 outlets of Superseva. The entire backend of creating collaterals, standees, inventory replenishment and card activation is handled by Qwikcilver. This wouldn’t have been possible but for the constant support and co-operation from our partner brands. Truly exciting times await us. Watch out this space for more updates.

However, the large untapped potential in the Retail segment is also something that needs to be considered.
