It’s Marriott! And we are powering their gift card program, for Amex customers.
Marriott Hotels & Resorts is Marriott International's flagship brand of full-service hotels and resorts. Phase 1 of the program will have American Express procure the gift cards from Marriott and distribute them to their retail and corporate customers. The gift cards will allow Amex customers to dine at specific dining restaurants across all Marriott Group properties in India.
Rolling out a program of this scale necessitated Qwikcilver to innovate on many levels. The solution we have devised consists of two major components: the gift card issuer at the participating restaurants (front-end) and the bulk processing engine sitting at the back-end.
Accordingly, we have deployed our new mobile POS solution at the front-end and our flagship store POS at the back-end. These work in tandem to power gift cards to end customers. The gift card program is powered by QwikGifTSx.
